The Safari will take Lamy T10 cartridges or the Lamy Z28 ink bottle converter which will need to be purchased separately. The pen ships with one blue ink cartridge
Please note: Lamy tests each nib before it leaves the factory. Should you notice any trace of blue ink residue on the nib or feed, this is from the testing process. All Pens are cleaned and flushed but residue may be left over from this process.
