The Stipula Etruria Rainbow fountain pen features one of the brand’s most popular and well-known vintage collection pen designs. The oversize pen model is named for the Tuscany region (referred to as Etruria in ancient times). A vibrant series, Stipula’s Etruria Rainbow is made of transparent Italian resins turned from solid rods.
The Stipula Etruria Rainbow fountain pen uses an internal piston filling mechanism. The transparent resins mean this limited-edition release is a true demonstrator fountain pen allowing you to see the ink level at any time.
To fill the Stipula Etruria Rainbow fountain pen with ink, you use the inbuilt piston system. The Stipula piston system’s piston knob does not extend when you use the filling mechanism. The Stipula pistons work differently than the typical piston filling system by another pen brand. When using the Stipula piston filling system, rotating the piston knob clockwise expels ink, while rotating the piston knob counter-clockwise draws ink into the pen
The body on this pen is clear (light reflections show some color, but it is clear), Both the cap and end cap are a translucent rainbow.
